The meeting was a summary of the work and cooperation of the partners from the previous months, when all The participants of the project prepared for the topic: volunteering for children and the elderly, recognizing the mentioned topic in their countries, collecting information and the demand for this form of assistance among students in their home schools, sharing successes and difficulties during online meetings.

The activities were divided into modules – lecture, workshop and field.

During the workshop module, the participants were provided with knowledge and skills in overcoming difficulties that a volunteer may encounter – fear of incompetence, fear of rejection and in the field of activating games and activities for children.

The workshop module included volunteer activities for children in a sociotherapeutic day-care centre.

In addition to the activities for all participants, there were also sessions of meetings for teachers, which are to be used to evaluate the meetings already held and to search for the most effective forms of further cooperation.

The lecture and workshop module used information and information technology, which will enrich the work of each partner.

The training for employees “School Volunteer Coordinator” was a joint activity of the partners in the area of exchange of good practices and mutual learning themselves. The aim of the training was to develop a model of a school volunteer coordinator – a person who is competent, committed and willing to share his or her substantive and organizational knowledge. The training will be divided into a theoretical and workshop part. In the theoretical part, each participant will share their experience in organizing volunteering at their home institution. As part of mutual learning.

The lecture part was supported by representatives of the Regional Volunteer Centre from Katowice, who will present the European legal basis and organizational activities for the creation of volunteering, taking into account the local law of each participant. . The aim of the workshop was to enable practical application of the acquired skills during all training modules.

School Coordinators volunteering after a two-year cycle of self-improvement, they will use their knowledge and skills on a daily basis during school and extracurricular activities strengthening the construction of civil society.
