The reception by partners from a school in Romania is the fourth mobility in which students participate. The meeting was devoted to “volunteering for pro-ecological activities”. The project meeting was preceded by the involvement of students in the creation of the Ecologists’ Club in each of the partner schools. Over a period of three months Before the trip, the students learned how to diagnose ecological problems and threats and undertook volunteer activities for the benefit of the ecology of their local community. Thanks to this, each of the partners was able to present their previous activities and share good practices.
The activities in the partner school have been divided into modules – lecture, workshop and field.
The lecture module was devoted to environmental awareness. During the workshops, the students gained reliable ecological knowledge. The workshops included classes whose starting point were the following questions: what is ecology, what is an ecosystem, why should we engage in pro-ecological activities. The field activities were carried out with the participation of a non-governmental organization and will include the identification of threats to the environment and creating and running a campaign to raise awareness in this area.
Extended ecological knowledge will be incorporated into everyday educational and educational practice in partner schools.
